Annual Meeting2013 Heidelberg
It was already a week now that I came back from joining annual meeting with Thai Women Groups in Germany. To be honest, I just have time to sit down and am trying to resume what I have done during my stay with my country fellows, those lovely people, at the same time to gather all pictures i have made over there, to put them here to share with everyone.
Well, again this year I was invited to join the annual meeting with Thara e.V http://www.tharaverein.de/ It was hosted and held in Heidelberg during 13-15 sept.2013 And i was there on behalf of Thai Pride Association,a representative of Thai Community South Limburg of The Netherlands.
We, Thai women groups in Europe have been collaborating ,exchanging ideas and supporting one another already longer than a decade. After those years of connecting, the relationship has become tighter and it goes without saying that after one meeting we’ll plan and be ready to join the next automatically and definitely, with pleasure.
Khun Dachanee Pfitzner, present Chairwoman of THARA e.V Germany and a very good friend of mine, had invited me to come few days prior to the meeting. But due to my tight schedule concerning my work in The Netherlands, I couldn’t make it earlier than 12 sept. I left The Netherlands in the afternoon by car and arrived in Mannheim in about 3 hours.
Some few hours after my arrival, other closed friends from Italy and Switzerland arrived. When met,we all forgot about jetlag or any fatigue from our long-hour-journey.Instead,we had much to talk about and to tell one another,so much that we would really love to extend the night as long as possible before we felt in sleep.
13Sept.2013
We were late to bed the night before though we managed to get up early,to have good breakfast and to follow program of the day as scheduled. We went to meet other participants at the square in center of Heidelberg town then made good walk up to top of Heidelberg Schloss the whole morning and took boat trip along Neckar river in the afternoon. A huge room in the boat was reserved for our group so that we could hold group discussion on Mental health with Thai Authorities during the float.

Due to a great number of Thai people in Germany as well as problems they have been through for years,Thai government have been trying to cooperate with local authorities from both sides;Thailand and Gemany, to identify some outstanding problems which must be first sloved. One of those outcomes is "Mental Health"
I will not define any detail of the problem and subject here, but i would like to add that several seminars concerned had been hosted in association with Ministry of Mental Health Thailand, to provide workshops and advices to assist those local Thais in Germany.
Topic on Mental Health was picked to talk about and discussed again the next morning after useful information on "Two Nationalities"and "Aliens Visa". Additional information on "Residence Permit" ,"legal help" and "Neutralization" are also provided and informed by both Thai and Geman officers.

Another day another fun.On the last day,we had "Debate Competition". That was most fun.I was pro-team leader. We laughed a lot and out loud. That's the most important. Finally we just decided not to vote for any winner.Just simply made it another way of tighten our good relationship and collaboration.
We went back home with great feeling and longing of seeing one another again in the next meeting.
